第7届华语音乐传媒大赏将在颁奖礼前一周提前揭晓最佳摇滚艺人、最佳电子艺人、新音乐三项大奖结果，兹定于2007年06月23晚21：30，在191Space（地址：广州市广州大道中191号）举行颁奖仪式暨演出，表演嘉宾包括左小祖咒、DEAD J、顶楼马戏团。

The "Modern Cultural Revolution Plays" are classic works of the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution era.  Looking only from the musical perspective, they combine China's traditional opera and performance technique with classical Western music to tell the story of China's proletarian revolution. It’s a splendid practice with full imagination and creative.Our intention in creating this album was to use electronic actuator to once again rouse up the creative spirit in Chinese music. --- Wu Ershan

 

As a member of my generation, the Modern Cultural Revolution Plays remain basically foreign to me.  But in a quite long time，The model play has become the only artistic which the Chinese can accept，it has entrusted with extremely strong political color。This remix of the Modern Cultural Revolution Plays resulted in a very experimental product without the use of 'experimental' forms of music, but rather by using very powerful electronic hardcore  music.  I think the remixes actually go beyond hardcore dance  to an even more fierce extreme.  The tracks are all filled with strength and anxiety.   The mix of the Modern Cultural Revolution Plays and extreme electronic/techno roar out at you.  Even if you don't jack up the volume, Also can feel their blood tensity！--- Shao Yanpeng

 

Revolution is direct.  The Modern Cultural Revolution Plays are the same.  They symbolize an era like the Punk movement did for Rock 'n' Roll . Has the complete concept and the wonderful pattern，Directly is all，opens Thoroughly and don’t ambages。The plays  sets a new precedent by taking something independent of the West and mixing it with western aspects, mixing the traditional with the modern, and mixing the East with the West.   There is no trace of imitation or the simple pairing of opposite tradition, rather the album (or the plays?) is deeply based in Chinese tradition and educated by Western modernity. The plays gathers together the creative energy of the entire Chinese nation honing it into on crystal clear voice.   Of course there is also individual ideals.All of this has passed and become history, settled like sediment, and passed down through generations to become a special memory, and a traditional part with proud.  --- Feng Jiangzhou

－活动/艺人介绍：

Sweat.Science.Scene（汗水.科技.场景）是一个致力于开拓电子音乐潜力的持续性演出计划，它将囊括世界范围内的电子音乐人的现场表演，它所包含的节奏动力不仅仅能让你兴奋地跳舞流汗，更能从中找到电子音乐应有的科技感。它的定位不是纯粹的实验，而是在先锋和悦耳中找到新的平衡。你将在这里找到志同道合的朋友，以及最合胃口的电子音乐。

本期表演的两位艺人孙大威和邵彦棚都是活跃在当今中国电子乐前沿的“BIG NAME”，Sulumi以单纯的游戏之声和跳舞音乐著称,今年刚刚发行了新专辑《立体声巧克力》。Dead J的作品则倾向于更加迷幻和未来感的Electro和Minimal Techno音乐，最近发表了新专辑《幻术》。

Bio:
SULUMI (孙大威)
Started to learn guitar in 1997, Sun Dawei formed and joined bands like "Xi Guan" and "Underground Baby". He wrote some songs for bands and many times appeared at live shows. Since the year 2000, Sun Dawei began to compose electronic music and has produced many important electronic music compilation albums afterwards. He also envolved in the incidental music for film and theatre. Sun Dawei has released several albums for himself under the name of "SULUMI", he is famous for the pure Gameboy sound and IDM.

DEAD J (邵彦棚)
Shao Yan-Peng , born in 1981 in China , mainly under alias of Dead J,also member of electronic duo "Panda Twin" . He is Key figure of the new generation of Chinese electronic music. . His works can be found in many electronic music compilations.His debut album "Mental Imagery" was released in 2005 , followed by 2nd album "Mental Magic" in August 2006.. He has also composed for many theatre projects for chinese director Meng Jinghui.

“现代革命样板戏”是中国文化大革命时期创作的经典作品。仅从音乐角度而言，它融合了中国传统戏曲音乐及演唱方式与西方经典交响音乐，用以表现中国无产阶级的革命故事，是一次充满想象力与创造性的精彩实践。我们策划这张专辑的意图是－－用电子起搏器再次激发起中国原创音乐的生命力。

我这一代人基本对样板戏很陌生，但在一个相当长的时期内，样板戏成为了中国人唯一能够接受到的艺术形式，它身上蒙上了相当浓厚的政治色彩。这次给样板戏重新混音应该是一次非常实验的做法，但混音类型并没有用晦涩的实验音乐，而是非常POWERFUL的电子硬核舞曲，我想它甚至比硬核形式来得更为猛烈极端，CD里的曲子充满了力量与神经质，在样板戏和极端电子音乐的疯狂嫁接中向你咆哮，即使你不用开大音量，也能感觉到他们的血脉贲张！

革命是直接的，样板戏也是如此，作为一个时代的象征也许和摇滚乐历史PUNK运动有一拼。有着完整概念和美妙模式，直接就是一切，彻底敞开不带拐弯抹角。可以说前所未有，独立于西方却又融合西方，传统与现代，东方与西方。没有模仿的痕迹不是简单的捏合，有着深厚的传统功底，西方教育。集合了整个民族创作能量，千锤百炼的结晶，当然还有个人理想。这一切都发生过成为历史，安静的沉淀下来，继承下来，成为奇特记忆和引以为自豪的传统一部分。
